1930SummerTwo nests of the Pewee were found, the first by Leander Fischer near Shakopee, which contained three eggs on June 12th, The other nest wa13 found by the writer near Excelsior, and held four quite large young on July 4th. -30-The Flicker, 1930

1933Summer A total of eleven nests reported. An clmcst-finishcd nest was found a.t Frontenac on Nay 21st by Risser nncl Swanson. Tho first nest with eggs wa.s found by Griocs in Pennington County on June 15th, when it hold 3 eggs. Hieoenz lists tho last nest with eggs, found near st. Cloud on June 25th. It contained 2 eggs. Newly-hatched young were ·seen a.t Shakopee on July 1st by the writer.
1934Summer The earliest nest of this doleful-sounding species was found by John Dobie'a.t Oak Point, Lnke of the vloods, on June 16th. Hanson of St. Cloud found the last nest on June 29th. On it was an incubating_ bird. Young out of tho nest, being fed, were seen at st. Cloud by Hiomenz on August 15th.
1935Summer As with so tlllllY other species, Dr. Prosser sa\1 the first Pewee going o.bout its nesting o.ctivities. On June 6th at Linwood Ln.kc ho sn.w one building a nest which ho found occupied July 2nd. R:ysgo.ard souc;ht cut tho first nest with an egg in it on June 14th. Later nests seen were on July 10th, 4 smo.ll yo\Ulg in nost, BreckenridGe nnd Prossor; anc1 July 11th, 2 eggs, Breckenridge and Pressor. These lnst 2 nests wore also at Linwood.
1937SummerOn June 25 Mrs. C. E. Pet­erson saw young pewees being fed and other· pewees incubating, near Madison, Minn.
1938SummerA nest with a large young was found by E. D. Swedenborg at Excelsior on July 3r.
1940SummerThis flycatcher was observed nesting on but one occasion. At Sturgeon Lake G. Rysgaard found a nest of 5 eggs on June I3. Horned Lark. Three young of this early nester were found by Ed. Maher on Minnesota Point on April 25. Harrel! and Longley found a nest with 2 young in Ramsey Co. on June 24.

2000Fall Reported from Lake, Otter Tail, and Polk on 9/10; latest north 9/14 Carlton LAW. Seen in four south counties 9/23–24, followed by 10/8 Blue Earth MJF.
